It’s been too long since I’ve sampled the goat cheeses of North Carolina’s Prodigal Farm — not since ACS 2012 visited Raleigh — but you can help change that by supporting their Kickstarter campaign to build an addition to their farmstead dairy. The new addition will provide space to brine and age their goat cheeses, offering a wider range and extending production year-round. All of which adds up to more Southern cheese in the distribution pipeline.
Check out their Kickstarter campaign and chip in if you can! No need to be in North Carolina, backers can choose to have cheese shipped directly to you. But if a trip to NC is on the agenda, check out the opportunities to visit and dine on the farm.
